450 Harrison Avenue in Boston is home to approximately 15 galleries and 80 artist's studios. It is easily accessible, and there is a large parking lot next door with reasonable rates. I am in Studio 201; take the lobby elevator to the 2nd floor, turn right, and I am the last door on the left.

A MapQuest listing for 450 Harrison Avenue is available here, from which you can get driving directions from any location.

From Boston: If you are coming from any part of Boston, drive to Arlington Street (it is a one-way), which becomes Herald Street, and turn right at Harrison Avenue. After 2/10ths of a mile, 450 Harrison will be on your left. The parking lot will be immediately after it on your left.

My studio is a large unit which makes a great space for painting and also displaying my work during open studios. 450 Harrison is the centerpiece of Boston's art Mecca, the SoWa Arts District. Famous for it's First Friday open studios, in which dozens of artists display new work to collectors and art lovers, the building is also home to fifteen of Boston's premier galleries. These events regularly draw hundreds of local and out of state visitors, and have become the prime destination for those wishing to experience the vitality and excitement of Boston's art world. Be sure to mark these events on your calendar to see what is simply the finest new art in the city.
