Suspended Teacup No. 2
Today’s painting for you:
“Suspended Teacup No. 2”, Oil on Panel, 8×4 inches, 2011
Today’s painting from the vault – from 2011 – is a real favorite of mine. Around that time I got interested in surrounding the painting area with an arch of some kind – in this case a Moorish arch found in a Victorian treatise on Middle Eastern architecture.
Sometimes when I look at my older paintings, I get the feeling that there’s a thread I should pick up again in my current work, and this is definitely one of those times.
I hope you enjoy it!
