    I wrote this about a Russian Art Auction in Stockholm a few weeks back, on my blog.

    I can’t for the life of me understand why people like Aizazovich. Maybe you would care to enlighten me. What’s the appeal?

    Thanks for the great additional resources. Wonderful stuff. Ths late 19th Century looks like a very productive time in Russian art and I’m becoming more and more impressed (if you’ll excuse the expression) with Russian Impressionism. Lots to explore and enjoy!

    search also Tretiakovskaia Galleria in Moskow,or just tretiakov…russian painters are really great!!I had the chanse to see Repin,Levitan,Serov when i was traveling in Russia.I´m happy to see there are many people who apreciatte them….congrats for you site!!
