    Copper can be such an interesting subject to paint. There’s some nice bits of hidden color in those reflections.

    Hi Tony,

    Yes, it’s a real challenge – I actually had a much harder time with this painting than normal – because of the copper. The more I got into it, the more amazed I was at how complex it’s color actually was.

    I haven’t been spending much time in the blogosphere as of late but it was a pleasure to stop here and see these gorgeous paintings. Your colors are so rich (almost Vermeer-like).

    I admire anyone who undertakes a painting a day project. Best of luck with yours.
