Duane Keiser and the “painting a day” is also mentioned in, I think, last month’s issue of Artist Magazine. Check it out!

Hi. I also mentioned “painting a day” in an article I wrote about art collecting for FASHION Magazine — it will be in the October issue.

An artist I work with at the media organization you mention in this post’s title put the bug in the life department’s ear. It is amazing how blogging has revolutionized the art field.

Thanks Lisa, I will look for it.

I agree, Dave. It’s having effects on the way art is being made, marketed, and sold. I won’t guess if this is a lasting change, or not, but for now, it’s fascinating. In a way, it seems like the art world is coming to the internet about 10 years after everybody else.

Agreed. I think it had to get to the point of being as simple as possible. The blog and ebay seem to have been the catalysts. Probably stating the obvious though.
