I’ve been lurking your site (and viewing your abundant amount of pieces), and I must agree with the man’s statement, as an Indian myself. :p

We ARE strong… And pretty damn resilient. Which is probably why India’s overpopulated.

Thanks Nistha – Hopefully India’s made me a little more resiliant 🙂

I’ve only been home for 2 weeks and I’m already thinking about my next trip there…

Ah! India’s too big to experience in one trip. One lifetime, even.

I live in America, but we usually visit every two years, and I find myself drawn to the country I call home (despite being born and raised here) more and more. I’ve visited many of the places that you have in the country, since Gujarat is right below Rajasthan.

It’s really hard to come to terms with the way people live over there, but India would not be India without such tragedies. There is, as you say, a price of admission. There is such a fee for all countries that you visit, but for India, it is definitely higher. In my opinion, however, the high price mimics the height of the riches viewed and experienced afterwards. 🙂

I couldn’t agree more; I’ve visited nice places before, and had great vacations in foreign countries; educational, relaxing, fun, and all that. However, going to India, at least the way I went, has made me a little bit of a better person. Definitely worth the price of admission…
