Lovely post with great photos, Jeffrey. I'll be tweeting it to followers of the Mosaic Art NOW blog/FB page http://mosaicartnow.blogspot.com I've seen the mosaics in Worcester and they are beautiful. Thank you for reminding me of them!

Virtual museuming. The images from antiquity are quite grand. And thank you, too, for posting photos of all your own beautiful work! I love to visit your site.

    Thanks for this post, Jeff.

I live right near Worcester (in Auburn, MA). Each time I visit the museum I'm surprised at the quality of the collection. While there's little well-known (expensive) work, there's lots of good work by great artists. Their collection of 14th and 15th c. Italian and Northern European work is of very high quality.

Great to hear about this museum! Also this reminds me to post info on my blog about joining American Association of Museums. For $75 you can get a year's worth of free admissions to most museums in the country. Thanks for all your great posts!
