First Pass Completed
Last night I completed the first pass. The objective of that is to get paint everywhere so I can start to work out the exact relationships between colors – especially values and temperatures.
Once paint is everywhere, I find that problems sometimes become obvious that weren’t so clear before. There are a couple of issues with the perspective that I didn’t notice in the sketch phase that pop out at me now. Having paint everywhere also makes it easier to start thinking about balance between objects and also start to unify the light so it makes a cohesive whole.
There’s also a lot of detail to start to work with – it’s been big shapes up to this point.
