This is day 15 of my 90 day challenge where I do one new painting from life each day.
Yesterday a friend brought a bag of plums from his garden. Fortunately a few of them still had the stems and leaves attached, since that makes a much more visually interesting painting than just a piece of fruit.
The leaves were a lot of fun to paint, especially as they’re on the edge of wilting and dropping from the stem. That’s a particular challenge I look forward to repeating soon.
