Today’s Painting for You: Red and Yellow and Gold
Today’s painting for you:
“Red and Yellow and Gold”, Acrylic on Panel, 2.5×2.5 inches, 2014 (sold)
Just like yesterday’s painting, I feel this one doesn’t look nearly as good in a large image as one about the actual size of the painting.
If you enjoy these teacup paintings, please stay tuned. So far this year, I haven’t done too many of them, but that is about to change. I’ve been thinking a lot about the way I produce my paintings, and I’d like to experiment with a rhythm of alternating between larger and smaller pieces.
In fact, it’s likely to start next week. Once I complete the first pass on my current still life, I’ll need to set it aside to dry for a couple of days. I’ll use that time to produce a teacup painting. So you won’t even have to wait that long.
I hope you enjoy it, and I wish you a great weekend!
