    We here at the Leonardo da Vinci Umbrage League wish to strongly object to Dan Brown’s scurrilous portrayal of Leonardo’s paintings as containing messages written in luminescent paint. Our infallible secret texts tell us that Leonardo only used non-luminescent Winsor and Newton® brand invisible paint when writing cryptic messages on his canvasses. We haven’t read the book or seen the movie, of course, but we cannot allow Dan Brown to continue his obvious endeavor to destroy the history of western art.
