These paintings are the result of long hours and close looking. Layers built over weeks. Edges adjusted until the light settles just right. They were never rushed. They weren’t made to impress. Only to hold something true.
Each composition begins with objects I return to again and again—glass, fruit, porcelain, stone—familiar forms arranged until they feel inevitable. The aim is always the same: to make something that’s quiet, balanced, and lasting.
What you see here is what’s ready to leave the studio. If something stays with you, I invite you to take a closer look.
"Tea and Croissants"
This painting gathers the remains of a simple breakfast: a silver pot, a glass jar of sugar, tea with lemon and cream, a pair of croissants, and the edge of a folded cloth.
Nothing extravagant—but everything arranged with care. The textures build quietly: glazed porcelain, soft pastry, heavy metal, layered fabric. Light moves through the scene slowly, catching on surface after surface until the whole composition begins to settle.
It’s not a display. It’s a moment held in balance—where nothing more is needed, and nothing feels missing.
"White Creamer, Art Deco Coffee Pot, Shell"
There’s something ceremonial about this one. The way the forms hold themselves. The way the ribbon falls—not perfectly, but deliberately. Everything feels placed with care, but never stiff.
The light doesn’t flood the scene—it traces it. Touches here, lifts there. What’s shown is enough. What’s left in shadow still shapes the mood.
It’s a painting that invites you in slowly. And stays with you a little longer than expected.
"Green Teapot and Oriental Rug"
This is a painting built around balance.
Color, weight, and surface—all carefully placed, but never overly arranged. The deep green of the teapot, the warm polish of silver, the woven pattern beneath them—it’s all steady, held together by light and restraint.
There’s a sense of rhythm here, like a table set for something familiar. Not a performance—just a pause. A moment to pour, to sit, to stay.
What Collectors Are Saying
I’m grateful that more than 700 collectors have chosen to live with my work—many with more than one piece. That kind of trust means a great deal.
Each painting is made to bring a kind of stillness into the room. Something quiet, carefully built, and meant to last. It’s rewarding to know that these pieces have found a place in people’s homes, and that they continue to hold attention over time.
What follows are a few words from collectors—reflections on how the work lives with them, and what it’s come to mean.
I hope you’ll spend a moment with them.
L. A., a Collector from Massachusetts
“I’ve known Jeffrey and collected his work for several years now. I always look forward with great anticipation when he shows his new work. The realism he achieves is astonishing. He brings a remarkable precision and clarity to his Still Lifes, and his compositions are always thoughtful and interesting. I always stop, look, and marvel at the paintings of his that I have hanging on my walls. I am both proud and honored to have him as part of my collection.
G. T., a Collector from Massachusetts
“The variety of his paintings over the years has made multiple purchases greatly satisfying. Each work is unique and awe-inspiring because his ability is transcendent.”
L. K., a Collector from New York
“Museum quality, perfect work. Beautiful, sophisticated, and poised.”
